Citrus County
Quality of Life

With over 15,000 students, Citrus County schools have consistently excelled in performance, thanks in part to the teachers who have a higher average in the years of experience teaching, as well as having the third highest percentage with advanced degrees in the seven counties of the Tampa Bay region.

The Citrus County School District has a well-regarded International Baccalaureate Program, a School for the Arts, a Health Academy, and an Environmental Science Academy to service the unique needs of a diverse and talented student population.

Every Florida resident lives within 50 miles of a post-secondary educational institution.

The College of Central Florida and Withlacoochee Technical College partner with area businesses. Both institutions offer hands-on, workplace-based training in state of the art facilities. Withlacoochee Technical College is fully accredited and holds industry certification exams on site.

Florida is rich in education opportunities that can keep your company competitive today and tomorrow.
